“Books with Breakfast” is a COVID-19 crisis response program developed to provide books to Boston Public Schools students with the goal of keeping children engaged in reading and learning while aiding parents in the task of educating at home. This partnership with ReadBoston and Boston Public Schools is addressing the immediate needs of families and underserved children by supplying books to support continued at-home learning during school closings.
“Books & Baby Formula" is a COVID-19 emergency call to action to support Boston Public Schools’ families struggling during these unprecedented times. Storytime Crafts has partnered with the Boston Public Schools to collect donations of baby formula, diapers, baby wipes and other baby essentials to provide to families through the BPS distribution program.
“Books & Bikes" is a Storytime Crafts COViD-19 initiative to give children hope during these unprecedented times. Supporting Boston Public Schools’ families most impacted by the COVID pandemic is our top priority. Providing books and bikes for children is our way of helping kids stay active and engaged in reading and learning.
“Community Partners for Masks” is a COVID-19 crisis response initiative to partner with businesses to provide masks to vulnerable communities to help fight against the coronavirus.
“Help for Homeless" is a COVID-19 emergency initiative to provide support to facilities caring for homeless COVID-19 patients and homeless in isolation. Storytime Crafts is providing books and resources and partnering with Hope & Comfort to provide essential hygiene products. Facilities are ramping up to meet the needs of homeless patients and their goal is to help these patients feel cared for and safe so that they are comfortable staying quarantined.
