Patrick Tsung - Needham High School '21
Patrick’s favorite book when he was a kid was Richard Scarry’s “Cars and Trucks and Things That Go”.
Patrick Tsung is a student at Needham High School. In his spare time, he likes to go on walks and play video games. Patrick likes to travel, and some of his favorite places include Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia and Hawaii. He is an avid fan of roads and transportation, and can name almost every country on earth. Patrick is a member of unified track and basketball, Boy Scouts and Model UN.
Storytime Crafts is excited to partner with Needham High School for their Community Service Learning Program. Patrick Tsung has been doing great work behind the scenes, safely from his home during the COVID-19 school closings. Patrick is balancing his at-home learning while also providing essential help for the Boston Community during a time when our daily lives feel so disrupted.
Patrick sets a great example for his peers and also for our Needham Community about the importance of giving back. Storytime Crafts is so grateful for Patrick’s help and support during a time of crisis for so many families struggling financially day to day.
This is a special shout to Patrick Tsung for all his hard work!
The Community Service Learning Program is an important part of the educational experience offered at Needham High School. All students are required to complete two community service learning credits (60 hours) as part of their graduation requirement.
The mission of the Community Service Learning Program is to broaden students’ experiences beyond the traditional classroom by providing opportunities to become involved in volunteerism, service learning, and career exploration. By engaging in such activities, students learn more about themselves, their interests, and the privileges and responsibilities of being a member of a school, local, and global community.
