Books and Bikes is a Storytime Crafts COVID-19 initiative to give children hope during these unprecedented times. Supporting Boston families and our neighboring communities most impacted by the pandemic is our top priority. Providing books and bikes for children is our way of helping kids stay active and engaged in reading and learning.

As we continue to safely work and connect at a social distance, helping round the clock, seven days a week seems to be the new norm. We are in this together.


Bikes Distributed to Boston Public Schools Children - May 27, 2020


Within two hours of a request for bikes for Boston Public Schools families, Storytime Crafts is providing three boys each with a bike and a signed copy of “Danny Dollar” by Ty Allan Jackson. Thank you to all the volunteer drivers meeting at the YMCA camp site today at Ponkapoag Trail to safely collect distributions for families.

Storytime Crafts newest initiative “Books & Bikes” is off to a great start thanks to the generosity of the Needham Community. Supporting Boston Public Schools families most impacted by the the COVID crisis is our top priority and providing books and bikes for children is our way of helping kids stay active and engaged in reading and learning. Collecting used bikes and helmets in very good condition for K-5 age children.
