"Who loves children’s books more than I do, well it’s Lisa. She shares her love of books and reading with my students at the Beethoven Elementary School. It’s her kindness that shines through and her willingness to want all children to love reading. Lisa brought books for our students, well over 1,000 books. I’ll never forget the smiles and excitement of the students choosing two books to take home. Our Kindness Projects were such a success with all the support we received from Storytime Crafts."

Community Partnerships is an initiative to build community connections to make an impact in our own community as well as our neighboring communities on beyond.
Last change occurs when people and communities help lead the solution, inspire one another, learn together, and strengthen our collective ability to be a force of good. Our goal through fostering community partnerships is to get on a more equitable, fair, just, inclusive, and hopeful path together to be a force of change.

They organized a book drive at their elementary school, delivered the donations to Storytime Crafts and helped Lisa sort all the donations. They were thrilled with all the generous donations provided by their school community and eager to help. Lisa is a wonderful role model….her enthusiasm and passion for giving back is so inspiring!"

So excited to contribute two Storytime Crafts chairs to Horse SenseAbility, a non-profit organization located in Sherborn, MA. They work with underserved and at-risk youth and young adults, including those in foster care, through peaceful therapeutic sessions with horses. They were forced to shut down in March due to COVID-19. They are holding a virtual silent auction mid-October to raise revenue for their programs and to care for their therapy horses while it remains closed.

Well, even though Martha’s Vineyard libraries are still closed due to COVID and my chairs could not be delivered, I captured each chair in front of their final destination.

So grateful for the sponsorship from Martha's Vineyard Bank Charitable Foundation where the 3 chairs will be on display in the Edgartown MV Bank until the libraries reopen. Each library will also receive a signed copy of “Danny Dollar”, a financial literacy book, by Ty Allan Jackson
